Anti-Kim Jong Il Leaflets Reported at Onsong

Via the refugee-run DailyNK:

Feb 10, Onsung-gun, North Hamkyung province, anti-Kim Jong Il flyers were found, reported North Korean internal source on Feb 17.

The source said the flyers read, “Stand Kim Jong Il Upside Down” and tens of them were found near the Wangje Mt. Grand Monument and the Security Agency along with other government agencies.

  1. I’ve been thinking…..
    This is the third or fourth or so story like this I’ve heard in the last few years, and what struck me about them is how the people who did it (the ones we have heard from) — viewed these simple acts as daring as taking a shot at Kim Jong Il or storming the Bastile.

    It makes me wonder —- if operatives were sent into North Korea to several provinces and perhaps a couple or few towns in each provice if possible — and around a certain date, carried out such propaganda activities on the same or larger scale – could it possibly spark a major incident? a revolt?

    My thinking is —- if people are this wound up — perhaps is they suddenly thought many people in different areas were snapping, they might rush to join in?

    They would probably at least feel emboldened to start doing such activity on their own or seeking out groups to help long term.

    Think about it like in the past in the US with the first black doctor or Jackie Robinson. Once the potential is clearly displayed…..it would inspire many
