Lock 20 Sumo wrestlers in a room with 20 Ssirum wrestlers. In another room lock 20 Taekwondo blackbelts with 20 Judo or Karate blackbelts. In a third room lock 20 Tokyo Yakuza in a room with 20 Itaewon Yakuza; give them swords and let them fight to determine whether the Japanese first invented the Samurai sword or whether that technology was transmitted to Japan from Baekche.

Last man standing has to pass a final test. If the last man standing is Korean, he still has to pass the test of driving through the center of Tokyo for an entire afternoon without breaking one traffic law, including stopping for pedestrians in cross walks. If the last man standing is Japanese his task [straight out of Fear Factor] is to try and buy a ticket for the Seoul Subway system without getting roughly pushed out of the ticket line by an ajumma and then to actually board the train without stepping in a single loogie or sidewalk pizza.

The winner gets the Liancourt Rocks in fee simple absolute as well as all the encrusted crap thereon, with which he can glorify his country henceforth and forever.

Otherwise, the rocks remain unclaimed property and both sides need to drop the issue and focus on more important and pressing problems.
