Peace in Our Time?
What would a formal declaration of an end to the Korean War mean? Not very much, as long as the threat itself does not change. And I doubt that the threat will change unless either the North Korean regime changes.
Still, as cosmetic art, I’m hard pressed to see the down side.
Hopefully it would mean Yankee can go home. Realistically that would only happen over uri dead body…South Korea intends to perpetuate this sham forever.
