Isn't that ironic --- that one of the primary things that might keep these two women from being held as long as the crew of the Peublo is --- that nobody much cares about them in the public eye?

I mean, if the US government and the news media were raving mad daily about this, making it a huge international incident, NK would be giddy, and the United States gov. would have to work hard at twisting China's arm to get China to take measures to pressure Pyongyang, and NK would feel like it had gained much by taking the two hostage even if it eventually had to cave into Chinese and American pressure.

But, since virtually nothing seems to be done in the coverage of this item, NK really can't milk it for much of what it normally considers gains.

Or, in short, its hard to practice brinkmanship when the other side doesn't give a crap about what you're doing...

Looks like the North Koreans are stocking bargaining chips by detaining a South Korean Gaeseong worker for making critical comments about the regime.

obviously the missing piece that can answer a ton of unanswered questions is our friend Mitch Koss, but I am certain he is under an extreme amount of pressure to keep his trap shut until the diplomatic process is complete.

if I had to bet, the girls will eventually be released under the 'graciousness of the dear leader.'

but again.....weeks turn to months.....months turn to seasons.....and i would hope it is fucking on between KJI vs. all the American ajummas who watch The View and Oprah. that is a publicity battle I would love to see.

last week, i was actually optimistic for once about NK. i guess it was a bad week.

but now, it's just the same old crap.

i go to a korean church and there wasn't even one word about those girls. pathetic.

no one gives a crap about NK.
