Open Source Center Details DPRK Leadership

Anytime someone claims to have documents that have not been approved for public release and then releases them, I get a bit nervous. Personally speaking, I would never publish anything classified on this site, or any other Web site for that matter, but after discussing this find with Joshua, I can justify sharing this bit of information with you since a) there are no classification markings on the document, and b) it’s already circulating the Internet on a public Web site.

So here is what Secrecy News posted today: An Open Source Center chart of North Korea’s leadership with names, photos and titles of regime leaders, as well as an illustrated family tree of Kim Jong Il.

  1. This is incredibly helpful. Much appreciated for finding this.

Also, surprisingly, i discovered that I know one of the new Vice Directors of the SPA! I have lots of pictures of her in my scrap book from my 2004 visit to the DPRK.

  2. Not a lot of women on the chart, but more than I thought there’d be.

Interesting find. Serious question: which ones would make it to a deck of playing cards?
