Leningrad, St. Petersburg

By happenstance, I stumbled on this magnificent between wartime Leningrad, which was besieged by the Nazis for 900 days, and modern St. Petersburg. It’s striking how little the city itself has changed, and one can’t help wonder if such bleak times can be completely erased from a city’s soul in just 65 years.

What will Hamhung be like in 65 years?
