  1. She comes close to validating Myers’ argument that the engagement with the DPRK changes the engager more than the engagee (though I doubt that was her point).

Not related to this article, but the breaking news as of 3 AM, I’d really like to know if South Korea follows through on their promise to retaliate by attacking command structures for the latest exchange of fire. And while we are at it, wonder if maritime forces have the same orders, though getting at command figures would be more problematic in such cases.
