A Response to Cheong Woon Sik, and a Modest Proposal

I know that being discredited must be par for the course for Cheong Woon Sik, but what’s your reaction to the fact that both the South Korean NIS and the government of China agree that the North Koreans are counterfeiting U.S. currency? I presume Japan agrees as well; both Tokyo and Beijing support the U.S. position that North Korean counterfeiting is a separate issue from nuclear disarmament talks. Did you not get the memo, or does your faith require a seven-day sabbath on research?

[Note that OMN is an Internet publication, meaning that Mr. Cheong has absolutely no excuse whatsoever for never linking to any support for his factual assertions, which may explain why he routinely says things that are completely false, and demonstrably so.]

Of course, it’s official Uri policy that peace can always be bought, or at least rented. Here’s an experiment in consistency. I have a modest proposal for Mr. Cheong Woon Sik, Chung Dong-Young, and all of the North Korean regime’s other friends who believe that the United States has a duty to tolerate criminals counterfeiting its currency. I humbly suggest they pull a large truck up to the Bank of Korea, fill it with green ink, presses, and plates, and drive it directly to the Kaesong Industrial Park. Please return with the plates for the Benjamins. I suspect the result would look something like this.
