Ooh! Over Here!
“The regime change crew is in charge now and they are looking for any new ideas that can affect regime change.”
The tone of regime change opponents and Bush foes is also interesting to observe these day. Two of them have published pieces nearly simultaneously, concluding that Bush has made the decision to get rid of Kim Jong Il. I agree. They they wonder if he’ll have time to do it. I agree with that, too. Both think that South Korea has lost its ability to influence Bush. I agree. My agreement pretty much ends there, but both pieces are uncharacteristically coherent, one because it’s an Iglauer, and the other because it’s published at OhMyNews.
Note the halfheartedness of both pieces’ attempts to declare the diplomatic impasse all George Bush’s fault. You can’t really defend counterfeiting, which leaves you with questioning the timing while obviously rueing the diplomatic incompetence of both Koreas. After that, all you’re left with is the “U.S. neocon” epithet, which they say like it’s a bad thing ….
What’s also odd about this is that I’m not hearing from most of my neocon friends in government these days. It’s as if they’re too busy overthrowing Kim Jong Il to write!
