“It’s time for the misleading, the mistakes, the misconduct to end,†said Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid of Nevada.
Woodward’s book will be a big campaign boost for the Democrats in the November election. The Bush Admin. is looking worse and worse.
Thank you for illustrating why part of me that hopes the Dems win Congress this time, given the absolute awfulness of their presidential hopefuls.
It will cost their 2008 presidential nominee 10 points if voters are forced to listen to two years of Nancy Reid and Harry Pelosi. Pelosi reminds you of the shill witch who represented your ex-wife in court (and I’ve never even had an ex wife!). Reid is that guy at church who is always wearing the out-of-style suit and trying to sell you life insurance. It doesn’t matter what the insurance costs: you just want to avoid that sonorous squeak and the shallow bromides and buzzwords he brought back from the last sales convention and wants to try out on you. And you quoted such an absolutely splendid example, somehow convincing yourself that it was wise, that you really should hide yourself in shame.
These two are probably the most unappealing leaders of national stature I’ve ever seen. But please, let’s deal in substance. Do you even know WTF Nancy is trying to say, or substantiate it, starting with the “misconduct?” By the way, what’s the Nancy Reid plan for getting the bus-bombers to talk, and to win the war? Does it somehow involve health care?
The Democrats really shot themselves in the foot by picking Pelosi over Harold Ford, and Reid over Evan Bayh. What a waste of credibility those two are.
“what’s the Nancy Reid plan … to win the war?”
Most Americans have realized that the Iraq Occupation can’t be won by the US. The recent NIE report has said that the Iraq Occupation is fueling more terrorists, rather than reducing terrorism.
It’s highly doubtful that Iraq’s Unity Government can hold on, and when it falls, the US troops should leave, if not before.
Proves my point. You can’t even answer the farging question.
Most Americans HAVE NOT realized the Iraq “occupation” can’t be won because most Americans don’t know. Neither do you, Mi-Hwa. Your comments are mere conjucture.
There are several scenereo’s that could emerge that would keep US troops in Iraq, albeit in a reduced structure.
USA in ROK 56 years now, and most Americans STILL haven\’t heard of Korea. Lets not forget the 90 years or so in the Philippines. Why are we not still in Vietnam? The press comes to mind first. Just a thought.
I have a better quote:
