NKDB Event at SAIS Tomorrow

I apologize for the last-minute notice, but the Database Center for North Korean Human Rights (NKDB) will be holding an event at the US-Korea Institute at SAIS in Washington, D.C., from 12 to 2 p.m. tomorrow (Oct. 8th). The topic will be the Center’s 2009 White Paper on North Korean Human Rights; NED is also a sponsor of the event. It looks like they want you to RSVP, but lunch is provided.

And for anyone looking to “get involved,” I helped proofread a portion of the English version of the 2008 white paper and know that NKDB is always in need of volunteers to copyedit their English documents. If you have a good command of the written word, are patient, and have an eye for detail, they certainly would be grateful for your time.
